Between Boiler Room sets, Resident Advisor podcasts, and releases by every slightly eccentric artist you've ever heard of, Turbo Recordings has seriously got the goods this year. Tiga's own label, Turbo boasts a roster of badasses including Boys Noize, Azari & III, Chromeo, Seth Troxler, and like a billion other people you ought to be listening to. Tonight they're holding down the Middle East for an entire evening of amazing music with Duke Dumont, Nautiluss, Bordello, and Doctor Jeep.
Although Duke Dumont has only been making original productions for a year, he's no stranger to the music world. For five years he was The Guy for remixes, being tapped by people like Bat for Lashes, Santigold, and Lily Allen. Since then, he's been spitting fire: “Street Walker.” “Thunder Clap”, and “The Giver” are all from this year. House music is alive and well.
As for Nautiluss, it would be hard to think of a producer whose work is more exciting right now. Resident Advisor, Beatport, and every other blog you can think of have already recognized his two EPs and he's winning awards all over the place.
